ISHPEMING - Lisa Beth Krause and Brandon Jon Gagnon became husband and wife July 17 on the bank of the Ford River near Swinging Bridge Farm. Pastor Dan King presided over the 3 p.m. nuptials. A reception followed at Highland Golf Course.
Amy Ayotte, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Jill Sysko, sister of the bride; Rachel Schmitt and Kristi Jacques, friends of the couple; and Katlyn St. Jacques, cousin of the bride. Flowergirl was Kaitlynn Gagnon, niece of the groom.
Standing as best man for his friend was Ron Jacques Jr. Groomsmen were: Justin Gagnon, brother of the groom; Tommy Krause, brother of the bride; Brad Robinson, friend of the couple; and Jordan King, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Mitch Sysko, nephew of the bride.

Junior attendants were: Anna Gagnon, niece of the groom; Lainey Sysko, niece of the bride; and Owen Sysko and Logan Ayotte, nephews of the bride.
The daughter of Kerri and Tom Krause of Hyde, the new bride is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Northern Michigan University. Lisa is currently employed with Pathways in Marquette. She is a 2005 graduate of Escanaba Area High School,
The son of Sherri and Danny Buchannan of Escanaba and Gerry Gagnon of Gladstone, Brandon graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2005. He is employed with Astro U.P. in Rock.
After a honeymoon in Orlando, the newlyweds have made their home in Ishpeming.
