ESCANABA - Ashley LuAnn Erickson and Nathan Richard Anderson were united in marriage April 3 at Central United Methodist Church in Escanaba. Pastor Scott Harmon presided over the nuptials.

In the couple's honor, a reception was held at Island Resort and Casino in Harris.

The bride's sister, Danielle Erickson, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Peterson and Lisa Green, friends of the bride, along with Sheila Servant and LeAnne Barstow, cousins of the bride.

Standing as best man was Andy Butryn, friend of the couple (and responsible for the bride and groom having met). Groomsmen were Glenn King, Gary Gouin, Kevin Allsworth and Steve Gartland, all friends of the groom.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her uncle, the late LeRoy Brunette.

Serving as ushers were Jeff Johnson, stepbrother of the groom and Tony Brunette, cousin of the bride.

Flowergirl was Sophia Wagner, niece of the groom.

Ashley is the daughter of Cindy Erickson of Escanaba and the late Milton Erickson of Rapid River. She graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2003 and is employed as a clerk with Public Health, Delta and Menominee Counties.

Nathan is the son of Elizabeth and Greg Evensen of Crystal Falls and Richard and Lori Anderson of Gladstone. He graduated from Gladstone Area High School in 1995 and is employed as a boilermaker superintendent with Jamar.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are planning a honeymoon to Riviera Maya in December and have made their home in Escanaba.
