COUVILLION - A baby boy was born to Escanaba residents Brandon and Samantha (Spencer) Couvillion at 7:41 a.m. Oct. 19. Born at OSF St. Francis Hospital, Mason Cole Couvillion weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Dave and Sandy Spencer of Sault Ste. Marie and Bob and Sandi Karyn of Gladstone are Mason's grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Dick and Thelma Mason of Utica, Mich., and Pat and Robert Couvillion of Pestigo, Wis.

BARNHIZER - A baby boy was born Oct. 21 to Clinton Township residents Nathan and Rachel (Carley) Barnhizer. Born at 6:55 p.m., Thomas Benjamin Barnhizer weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long when delivered at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

Mike and Bonnie Simonelli of Garden, Ben and Alice Carley of Cooks, and Donald Barnhizer of Toledo are Thomas' grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Pauline Carley, Ethel Barnhizer, and Jim and Rita Lowe.

BJORK - Andrew and Mistie (Nguyen) Bjork of Denver, Colo., announce the Sept. 29 birth of their second child, a daughter. Born at 8:11 a.m., Ella Lieu Bjork weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long when delivered at Rose Medical Center in Denver.

At home, Ella is welcomed by brother Ethan.

The infant's maternal grandfather is Anh Nguyen of Colorado Springs, Colo. His paternal grandparents are Randy and Linda Bjork of Gladstone.

Great-grandmother is Margaret Smithson of Alpha, Mich.
