Braun - Humbert

ESCANABA - St. Anne's Parish, Escanaba, was the setting for the Aug. 8 wedding that united the former Danicia Braun and Michael Humbert. Deacon Lewis Vaillencourt presided over the 1 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at The Eagle's Club.

Julie Johnson, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Fournier, Chelsie Johnson, Tara Braun and Kristi Braun. Junior bridesmaid was Sage Clark.

Standing as best man was Michael Sheski, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeff Possi, Eric Braun, Steve Braun and Jason Braun.

Flowergirls were Isabelle and Clara Braun, and ringbearer was Keagan Braun.

Seating the wedding guests were Scott Johnson, LJ Meier, Trevor Johnson and Devon Clark.

Danicia earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education in 2009. The daughter of John and Jean Braun of Bark River, she is employed as a preschool teacher.

Michael received an associate's degree in water resource management in 2007. The son of Brent and the late Jamie Humbert of Escanaba, he is employed at Town of Algoma Sanitary District.

Following a honeymoon trip to San Diego, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, the new Mr. and Mrs. Humbert are at home in Oshkosh, Wis.
