Locking school down not a smart move
EDITOR:
It is obvious that you do not have a child in a room under lock down during a bomb search. I, for one, become quite concerned that my daughter is locked in a room and not somewhere more safe.
It is not a learning environment. When the bell rings they do not move to the next class. They sit. Locked in a room.
I also take issue with the scrolling banner on the online Press. It is not updated in a timely manner. The threat is over and the public is not notified of that.
Not to tell anyone how to do their job, but if it were up to me the school would be searched at night, "all clear." One entrance in the morning for students and personnel, cooks, janitors, teachers, etc. Nobody enters without a scan. If you think that is too draconian, it is not your child being blown to smithereens.
