GLSA ‘Fun Shoot’ slated for May 16

ESCANABA - The Great Lakes Sportsman's Alliance will be holding its clay target "Fun Shoot" May 16 starting at 9 a.m.

The $30 fee includes 50 clay targets - any combination of skeet, trap and 5-stand - and lunch. Re-entry is also available for $25 per shooter.

Participants may use any repeating shotgun (except 10 gauge) and use target loads with no heavier than 7.5 shot. Safety glasses and ear protection are required.

A ticket will be awarded to the shooter for every target broken and placed in a drum and then randomly selected for dozens of prizes. Top prizes include a ,270 caliber pump action rifle, a Knight muzzleloader, a wildlife print, and two-day fishing trips for two on Fence Lake, including lunch.
