GLADSTONE - Thomas Moreau was united in holy matrimony with the former Lorraine Karasti June 14, 1958, at All Saints Church in Gladstone.
Midge Bizeau, the groom's sister, served as matron of honor. Laverne Karasti, the bride's sister, and Marlene Schroeder, the bride's friend, stood as bridesmaids.
Wayne Marmalick stood as best man for his friend. Groomsmen were Ed Bunno and Lowell LaPlant, friends of the groom.

An anniversary reception was hosted by the couple's children at the Terrace Bay Inn, followed by a party at the home of Dave and Kari Fassbender in the Lake Bluff area July 3. Midge Bizeau and LaVerne (Karasti) Brannstrom were also in attendance.
Thomas retired form mead Corp. in 1994 as a conversion foreman, following 41 years of employment. Lorraine retired form Schneider, Larche & Haapala in 1988 and from Marble Arms in 1994.
Thomas is a member of the Marine Corps League, Devil Dogs, American Legion Post 71 , Delta County Veterans Council, AmVets, Gladstone Yacht Club, men's dartball team, and KC Smear League.
Lorraine is a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and Gladstone Yacht Club Auxiliary. Her hobbies include WELCA, Faith Circle, sewing quilts, knits, and prayer shawls, and is co-chair of the sewing group.
Both play Smear Wednesday afternoons at the Rapid River Senior Center and Rapid River Lions Club and are active members of the First Lutheran Church.
The couple has three children - Jeff of Paw Paw, Mich., Kari (Dave) Fassbender of Gladstone and Blair (Amy) of Montague, Mich. They also have seven grandchildren - Madeline and Dominic Moreau, Adam and Bill Chouinard, and Alaina, Katarina and Gabriella Moreau.
Mr. and Mrs. Moreau reside in the Gladstone area.
