MENASHA, Wis. (AP) — An unidentified body was recovered from Little Lake Butte des Morts Thursday in the area where authorities have searched for a 58-year-old Neenah woman who disappeared three weeks ago.
Victoria Landers has been missing since April 26 when her car was found in a town of Menasha park on the lake. Neenah police Officer Pam Martin says Landers did not know how to swim.
Victoria Landers, a former Escanaba resident, was last seen Saturday, April 26.
Police searched by air, land and water since then.
The body was found floating about 200 yards from shore. It was recovered by Menasha police.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.

Lions Swing Dance slated for May 23
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Lions Club will hold their fourth annual “Swing Dance” evening of festivities on Friday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at the Bluff Golf Course Clubhouse. Music is provided by the Gladstone High School Jazz Band.
Tickets are $10 per person and are available from any Lions member, Baybank in Gladstone, or at the door the night of the dance.
All money raised will be used by the Lions for community projects, Lions International Sight programs, and District 10 projects. The Lions have supported over 50 projects and area needs in the past year, and need help to continue the work by the all-volunteer club.

Memorial Day planned in Rapid River
RAPID RIVER — The Rapid River Memorial Day Celebration is scheduled for Monday, May 26.
Memorial services at local cemeteries will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk in memory of Cpl. Joseph Micks at 10 a.m. at the Rapid River Lions Club. Raising of the flag will begin at 11:45, with crowning of the queen at 12:05 p.m. and Grand Marshall Selection at 12:45. Line-up for parade participants begins at noon with the start of the parade at 1.
Activities in the Township Park, beginning at 11 a.m., include softball tournaments, pony rides, Abra Cadabra Arcade Jumps, Splat-U-Later, and food and refreshments in the pavilion.
The Rapid River Lions Club will offer food and refreshments, music and Cruisin Classic Car Show. A raffle drawing is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Rock Post 559 slates Memorial Day services
ROCK — American Legion Post 559 of Rock will conduct Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Rock Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, May 26. The Legion and Auxiliary Unit 559 will honor 268 deceased veterans from the Rock area, including 133 buried in the Rock Cemetery.
Post Commander Bill Isetts will lead the ceremony, while the Kivioja sisters sing the National Anthem for the flag raising. Captain Jamie Hanson of the Michigan National Guard will be the guest speaker. In case of inclement weather, the Rock and Perkins Legion Posts will hold a joint ceremony at the Perkins Lions Club at 11 a.m.
