BOERSCHINGER — Kevin and Deborah Boerschinger of Wilson welcomed a baby boy, Zebulun Russell, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital on April 18. He weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Zebulun joins brothers Solomon and Elijah Boerschinger at home.

Sharon and Norbert Wery of Wilson and Susan and Don Luusua of Wilson are his grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Robert and Cel Wery of Green Bay.

BRUNETTE — OSF St. Francis Hospital was the birthplace of a baby boy born to Escanaba residents Larry and Amy Brunette at 2:58 p.m. March 21. He weighed 8 pounds, 9.4 ounces and was 19 inches long. He has been named Samuel Robert.

Samuel’s mother is the former Amy Lehtonen.

Barbara Willis and Fred Lehtonen, Escanaba, and Jeanne and Larry W. Brunette, Rock, are his grandparents.

Vivian and Samuel Frizzell of Cornell are Samuel’s great-grandparents.

KING — A baby boy was born to Gregory and Amanda (LaClear) King of East Lansing on April 10 at Sparrow Health System. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21 inches long when he was delivered at 7:06 a.m. He has been named Nicholas Gregory King.

Nicholas joins three sisters, Brianna, Andrea and Carley, at home.

Robin and Robert LaClear of Williamston, Mich., Bonnie King of Escanaba, and Charlie King of Iron Mountain are the grandparents.

His great-grandmother is Adele Kivi of Escanaba.

MANNINEN — Escanaba residents David and Beth (Zeigler) Manninen welcomed their second child, a baby girl, at OSF St. Francis Hospital on March 19 at 10:46 a.m. Adelia Mae weighed 8 pounds and was 19 inches long.

Adelia joins brother Dylan at home.

Dennis and Karla Zeigler of Bark River, David Manninen of Cornell and Kay Forgette of Escanaba are Adelia’s grandparents.

Ardith Stoerck of Cragford, Ala., Norman Zeigler of Hobesound, Fla. and Viola Slone of Cornell are the baby’s great-grandparents.

RICKEL — Curtice Scott is the first child born to Gladstone residents Michael and Amy Rickel. Curtice was born at Marquette General Hospital on April 21 at 4:40 p.m. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18¢ inches long.

His mother is the former Amy Stade.

Susan and the late Scott Stade, Gladstone, and Steve and Kathy Rickel, Escanaba, are the baby’s grandparents.

Ethel and Harold Nehmer of Gladstone and Lois Curtice of Wells are his great-grandparents.

HARDWICK — Wilson residents Darrel Sr. and Margaret (Smith) Hardwick welcomed a baby girl, Diamond Li, at Dickinson County Hospital on April 24. Diamond Li weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19¢ inches long.

Diamond joins two sisters, Acea and Bianca, and two brothers, Luke and Darrel Jr., all at home.

Lucy Feathers-Smith of Wilson and the late Francis “Smitty” Smith Sr. are Diamond’s maternal grandparents. Paternal grandparents are Melvin Hardwick of Escanaba and the late Vernis Hardwick.

BALDOVSKI — Stephen and Heidi (St. Cyr) Baldovski of Pembine, Wis., welcomed their third son, born at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital on April 24 at 5 p.m. Drew Alan weighed 9 pounds and was 20 inches long.

Drew joins brothers, Riley and Reece, at home.

Brian and Lori Lauscher of Gladstone, Tom and Laurie St. Cyr of Aurora Wis., and Stephan Baldovski and Diane Bolbach, both of Illinois are Drew’s grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Beverly and Lowell LaPlant of Gladstone, Evelyn Bolbach of O’Fallon, Ill. and Steve Baldovski of Ill.

FLETCHER — Phoebe Ann was born at 11:43 p.m., April 6, to Gavin and Vikki Fletcher of Appleton, Wis. Phoebe weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 20 inches long when she was born at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton.

Her grandparents are Martin and Yvette Sanpaka of Appleton, Tracy and Danny Helman of Rapid River, Sherri Fletcher of Vulcan and Jerry Borchert of Escanaba.

Great-grandparents are David and Karen Sanpaka of Escanaba, and Jim and Robin Phillips of Rapid River.

Phoebe’s great-great-grandparents are Betty Porter of Escanaba and Linda Erickson of Gladstone.

LaPALM — Ft. Wayne, Ind. resident David LaPalm and Monroe, Mich. resident Sheryl Steinman welcomed a baby girl Christianna Mary LaPalm at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, April 7 at 10:14 a.m. Christianna weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19¢ inches long.

Christianna joins a sister, Samantha Steinman, and a brother, Noah Steinman.

Harlan and Mary Lou LaPalm of Bark River, and Gerald Poland of Monroe, Mich. are the baby’s grandparents.

ROBINSON — Dave and Michelle (Barron) Robinson, Perkins, announce the birth of their first child, Gunnar David Robinson. The baby boy was born at 8:05 p.m. March 21 at Marquette General Hospital. He weighed 3 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 16¢ inches in length.

Grandparents are Tim and Linda Barron and Fred and Mary Robinson.

Great-grandparents are Lorraine Porath and Mary Heitman.
