Once again the Board has passed a vote and made a decision without a through plan in place. The situation in Marquette County is not as presented in this article. There is a court reporter that still holds a current position within their district court. They run their court on different software and there still remains the need for the position. The bottom line are too many decisions are being made without a definite plan in place. There are too many unknowns and there are employees who are losing their employment because of the decisions that are being made. Raises that are being given to the non-union with "job duties" and "titles" while the union sit with nothing for 5 years and counting. We are at a time with an election year when the citizens of Delta County can become informed voters and take a stand on where their votes count and matter. Become informed on the issues and question the practices and policies that the elected officials are voting on in

I guess the end is here. They've already cut many union positions going back several years, and administrative positions have received raises every year. The administrator herself has received raises of up to 19%, while union wages are frozen and positions have been eliminated. Too bad so many residents of Delta County don't care what happens with their tax dollars, even when told what is actually happening. Personnel issues are barely the tip of the iceberg. Time to replace the cronies with people who care about the County as a whole, and not just their own pet projects.

In the end they will cut the Union employees wages/ positions and up the wages of administration.
