Stabenow: Getting things done ‘difficult’

May 12, 2014

DETROIT (AP) — Passing legislation in Congress is notoriously difficult today, but it’s “a whole lot more fun than spinning your wheels,” according to U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabeno....

Exstacy,

Sure, big man, little head - little brain?

Many people don't "man-up" like you!

Just the same,

your idea of "maning-up"

doesn't mean you have capacity to think or reason

involving things you don't understand, or are to young to have experienced.

I have more "experience and manning-up" in my morning depends . . .

then you'll ever have in a life time. . .

Whiz in your Wig - you're cheese has slipped from your cracker. You are a coward, hiding behind a fake name to protect your attacks - why don't you MAN UP and announce who you are so that the people you belittle can address you directly?

Whizzed Wig - you amuse more than annoy me - little do you care I know.

Go ahead.. tell us your REAL name so we can send medical help.

Extacie,

In spite of what you dream about voters "hiring" politicians to work for voters,

that's a quaint old fairy tale,

another lie perpetrated on the middle and poor class by

the rich,

the republicans,

their corporations

their politicians,

and the laws they all enact to further their bottom line:

GREED for PROFIT

Ecstasy ,

Incredible that you don't know the people behind

- the tee-bag's,

- citizens united,

- the koch bros,

- the us. chamber of, for only the rich commerce, and

- all the other sundry organizations the rich, their corporations and their Republican Party has created to serve them,

-including

- TWO INFAMOUS DECISIONS

- by their SUPREME COURT,

- THE DECISIONS that allows them to launder money in nearly

- UNLIMITED AMOUNTS

- TO BUY THEIR CANDIDATES

- THEIR POLITICIANS,

- THEIR LAWS !

and you have the gall to complain

about politics and political bashing of what is wrong with the two-party system,

especially the party of choice for the rich:

- the GOP,

- the Guardians Of Profits,

Incredible Indeed !

I'm glad you're not in charge of making military decisions for my grand-children!

Incredible !

Exstacy, simply incredible that you call the Affordable Healthcare Act = "obamacare" !

For being on the public dole and an ex-serviceperson, I'm glad you 'retired' because you don't exhibit any sense of common sense nor intelligence.

As president obama's first proposal only amounted to 2700 pages in length - this plan made it impossible to the rich and their companies to sell BOGUS HEALTHCARE INSURANCE - this was THEIR CASH COW!

RUPBLICAN BONER & COMPANY WOULDN'T HAVE ANY PART OF THIS 2,700 PAGE PLAN!

Instead,

the rich,

their healthcare providers,

their companies

SIGNED ONTO A PLAN

of more than 34,300 page in length and about

34,000 times as complex.

These dear friends are

YOUR REPUBLICAN FRIENDS

doing you in!

Remember Nancy Pelosi's famous statement when asked by the media: "What does the plan cover"?

Her INFAMOUS AND FAMOUS answer:

"NO ONE KNOW'S - UNTIL WE WORK THRU IT!

I wish to see an end to the, "I know what's best for you and I'll make my plan succeed!" I'd like it to give way to, "What do you want me to do America, how do you want me to vote"?

There's so very little of that these days.. the folks are simply NOT convinced that they are in charge of their own lives anymore.

I'd vote for a plan that recorded every promise made by a Political Figure and then when those promises don't bear fruit - they LOSE their job to be replaced by someone with an EAR to the Public.. Federal, State, and City !!

"Passing legislation in Congress is notoriously difficult today." -

Please explain exactly why you made that comment. And your remark about the Tea Party - I hope you aren't simply 'joining in' the Political Bashing that goes on in Washington these days.. The, "It's always someone else's fault" excuse.. I hope MORE political figures realize sooner than later that WE the voters HIRED you for a job.. not to make 'excuses' about how hard that job is, or to blame someone else when you are ineffective.. and to 'bow out' gracefully when you are no longer effective in the position.

On the Affordable Care Act - You're a STRONG supporter.. Please give me an idea what you'll tell people when they see their Insurance Bill next year.

How many Michigan folks lost their Insurance and then signed up for Obama Care - How many of the poor 'uninsured' signed up? How many TOTAL people in Michigan signed up? How many are still 'uninsured'?

You're a Strong Supporter of this program and should have those facts available at your finger tip..

" We're going to be hiring 5,000 people to plant trees this summer. "

Will they retain their employment after the trees are planted? Or are these simply "Part Time Employment" Opportunies?

and rather than HIRE them, why can't we simply roll a bus past the unemployed (on State Aid) and/or the Homeless on State Aid - put a shovel in their hand..

They will then "Already have been PAID for their services to the State"
