Despite what the government and the puppets of their rich owners,

the media,

continues to report “decreasing” numbers of unemployed,

the fact remains,

over 10 MILLION people are without work . . .

Despite the fact that

the rich and their corporations are sitting on huge amounts of cash,

by some accounts over 2 TRILLION DOLLARS,

all the while putting their

operational headquarters MAILBOXES overseas to

AVOID PAYING ANY U.S. TAXES.

Despite the fact that MORE THAN HALF of those 10 MILLION people without work,

over 5 MILLION people have dropped off the unemployment rolls

because the rich and their corporations

haven’t done anything to increase employment at home,

and continue to employ foreigners HERE and ABROAD.

All the while, through the depression,

(some will argue it wasn’t, especially the pawns of the rich and their corporations)

the rich continue to amass and increase their wealth positions,

while wage earners’ pay has not kept pace with inflation.

Over the whole economic, and social depression we have and continue to experience,

the wealth positions of the rich and their corporations have increased at a rate

EXCEEDING INFLATION

by many whole percentage points,

while ordinary,

legal, wage earning Americans

HAVE and CONTINUE

to bear the brunt, burden and

excesses of the rich,

the republicans,

their businesses and their corporations.

This is to Ed, As much I hate it I tend to agree, the population of delta county isn't growing, (check records) and tax values are decreasing so perhaps our local leaders need some tuning up.

Ed Stacey didn't you already make a fool out of yourself on Facebook w/your rants and now here too! You need to move where you might find yourself at least a little bit happy! Your life has to be awfully lonely and depressing!

You guys need to lighten up and see sarcasm. And Ed, it's always fun to twist percentages and numbers back and forth when it suits your position isn't it? You do it well.

Of course the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis will be reporting the tremendous rise in business activity as processed by local banks, from all those high wage Republican Jobs they’ve created from their TWO TRILLION DOLLARS of cash they're using to invest in American jobs here at home !

Whatever you do - Don't ever, ever figure in the fact that many people simply either MOVED away or QUIT looking for work.. Point 5 percent isn't a rush to work for a population the size of Delta county.. It's hardly even a blip on the radar of unemployment Point 5 percent of 2000 people unemployed is One Hundred (100).. 100!.. a mere 100 - that means that 1900 people are STILL out of work! How many QUIT looking?.. How many LEFT the area?
