Perhaps.

The shoreline,

north and west of the current jail should be

condemned and re-purposed

under the auspices of the farcical right winged republican law:

right of eminent domain . . .

you know that law?

The law Republicans enacted to take away your rights to ownership of

YOUR LAND,

so that their rich pals, businesses and corporations,

could make and take more of your money . . .

for themselves...

THAT LAW!

The North Shore could be

repurposed

into a year around playground for

tourists,

beach front activities abound, the old coal dock could hold condo’s, restaurants, putting courses in coal dust,

and of course tie-up space for schooners, whalers, and oar boats turned into cruise ships waiting to land at this unique port of call.

Don’t forget about the possibility imposed by the winter scene too,

ice skating,

ice sailing, ice fishing, ice racing

paid for by those cornell types that like their piece and quiet.

All these developments would need laborers.

Jailed labor

could be housed in condo-quarters and serve as laborers to this newly created

Northern Resort of last resort for the wrongly jailed.

What better way to instill in the jail population,

than to learn a new skill,

groundskeepers, maintenance people, servers, preparers, janitors, room hosts, and various culinary specialists to cater to the well-healed,

of course the money they earned, $2.20 per hour,

could be held in reserve for their medical treatment, and medical mj and e-vapes…

Both of the them are getting off too cheaply!

Cheesehead, you are a tool. Anyway, these inmates should get the basics and that is it. They did the crime, do the time as a criminal. They broke they law and chose to not follow rules, so why do the rules have to follow them? Unless they are dying or deathly ill....have family pay for their treatment, not the taxpayers they have already neglected and chose to ignore.

Of course

the families

should be invited,

no required to pay up front

for medical care of their

family member.

NO MONEY

NO CARE

NO HOW

After all this is a REPUBLICAN COUNTY,

don't expect them to share their tax breaks

by paying for inmate medical costs ?

On the other hand, let the inmate become an indentured servant to the county or those that pay for her/his medical care!

It worked well

ONCE.

Perhaps the local Republican party could get a law passed for just this purpose!
