Escanaba to save money on coal

ESCANABA — Escanaba expects to save somewhere around $100,000 by agreeing to purchase more coal now than was previously budgeted, but at last year’s cheaper price.

The city’s 2008 contract with its coal supplier, C. Reiss Coal Co.
